Phani Srikanth

Phani Srikanth  joined  Vegesna Padmavathi School in June 1997 as a residential student. He joined in VIII standard . He completed his SSC successfully in the year 1999. He has been an active member in the school both in curriculum and extra curriculum. He acted as Saint Narada in Sri Krishna Tulabharam – A 2 ½ hour long Mythological Play. Being a part of the Drama Cast Phani Srikanth has visited various places in India viz. New Delhi, Mumbai, Visakhapatnam, Guntur, Vijayawada etc. and has won accolades for the performances all over.

Phani Srikanth also represented the school as ‘Team Leader‘for the team which  participated in the National Children’s Science Congress-’97. He made the school name stand high by winning the competition in the District Level, State Level and finally making it to the National Level. The National Level presentations were held at Bhopal in December, 1997.

Initially when he joined the school he was more of an introvert. But the atmosphere and the hospitality of the school had brought a drastic change in his attitude. He became stronger both physically and mentally. He improved in many areas like communication skills, public speaking etc.

With all the confidence that Vegesna Foundation has given him, Phani Srikanth  now has successfully completed his MCA(Masters in Computer Applications) from the prestigious University of Hyderabad and now working as a Software Engineer in a Multi National Company. He is now taking the whole and sole responsibility of his family as an earning source.
